Alright, mayor, here is 0.10.0 in plain street talk. Check out what's new and how it will impact your gameplay. Otherwise, your city will go bankrupt in no time ๐Ÿ‘€

  • ๐Ÿ›๏ธ New building: City Hall: One per city. Costs 5,000 a month. Emits plus 1 tourism aura in an 8 tile radius. You must spend 100 approval points on a gift box to unlock it.

  • ๐ŸŽฐ New building: Casino. Footprint 2 by 2. Each week about 1 percent of citizens bet their entire balance at roulette. Win rate 1 in 38. Payout 35 to 1. Big, lumpy revenue and a tourism magnet. Your budget develops a pulse.

  • ๐Ÿจ New building: Hotel. Footprint 1 by 1. Hires 20 workers. Adds plus 1 tourism aura out to 10 tiles. Fifty parking spots. Can attract up to 100 tourists per week if the area is tourist friendly. Plant aura, reap guests, then tax them.

  • ๐ŸŒ Tourism, now mechanical. Each tourism aura point counts as one tourist. Hotels convert nearby aura into weekly guests. You can charge a per visitor fee for steady monthly cash. Stock Exchange, Planetarium, City Hall feed that aura. Leisure company taxes get tile by tile multipliers. Build the vibe, monetize the vibe.

  • ๐ŸŽ“ New building: University. Price 50 million. Build time 450 days. Seventy five parking spots. Needs 600 approval points. Monthly upkeep 2.7 million. While it exists, about 44 percent of graduating students get bachelor degrees and unlock higher tier jobs. Education turns into visible income.

  • ๐Ÿฅ• Agriculture aura enters play. Farmer markets have now agriculture aura and increase output of farms nearby. Factories have negative agriculture aura and decrease the output of farms nearby.

  • ๐Ÿฅ Hospitals retuned. Medium hospital, 20 million, 720 days, 40 patients. Big hospital, footprint 3 by 3, 200 beds, 200 million, needs 16,000 approval points, fresh models. Late game capacity you will actually need.

  • ๐Ÿ  Housing market, healthcare system and economic simulations were fined tuned and data was resourced more precisely.

  • ๐Ÿข New building: Residential Complex. Footprint 2 by 2. Four floors. Homes for 360 people. Fifty parking stalls. Builds in 200 days. Model variety reduces the copy paste skyline. Dense, then interesting.

  • โค๏ธ Health aura now saves lives. Each aura point in range gives plus 1 percent survival in serious illness, capped at 50 percent. Hospital placement and farmers markets become life or death moves, not decoration.

  • ๐Ÿฉบ Private care fallback. When public hospitals are full, citizens who can afford it switch to private healthcare. Some survive, some do not, but they no longer die just because the city ran out of beds.

  • ๐Ÿ… Reworked approval points: Now they work like experience points in a role playing game, you start at level 1 up to 20, levels are increasingly harder to attain. Each time you level up you get a Gift building. When leveling up, also the city gets more immigrants. Expansion speed and prestige move together.
